Trust & Security
This page is maintained by Recipe-to-Quote Pro to answer common security and privacy questions. Security is a shared responsibility: we operate the application and configure platform controls, while you manage your account credentials and team access. It describes current practices and is editable project content — not an independent certification.
Accounts are protected by email/password and optional Google sign-in. Access to your company's data is scoped per account, and team permissions are enforced with role-based access controls on the server.
Each company's recipes, inventory, quotes, and customer records are isolated using row-level security policies enforced at the database level, so members can only access data belonging to their own company.
Traffic between your browser and our application is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Data is stored on managed infrastructure provided by our hosting platform.
Recipe-to-Quote Pro is built and hosted on the Lovable platform with a managed Postgres database and serverless backend. This page describes platform capabilities we use; it is not an independent certification or audit.
We collect the account and business data you enter to operate the app — recipes, materials, suppliers, quotes, and customer details — plus basic account information. We use it solely to provide the product to you and your team.
Transactional and onboarding emails are delivered through our email provider. Payments are processed by Stripe. These providers process the minimum data needed to deliver their service.
Your data is retained while your account is active. If you would like to export or delete your data, contact us and we will help you with your request.
If you believe you've found a security issue, please email us so we can investigate. We appreciate responsible disclosure and aim to respond promptly.
